If you’re worried about being able to pay your bills or provide for your family, you’re not alone. People across the UK are struggling with the increased cost of living.
Please contact us on 0300 030 1865 to see what we can do to help if you’re struggling with your monthly insurance payments. Try not to cancel any direct debits or miss any payments as this can affect your policy with us and may affect your credit rating.
From financial advice, to mental health support, there are a number of great resources you can access for free.
The Salvation Army has 22 debt advice centres across the UK, regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), providing practical advice and pastoral care to those facing financial hardship.
Debt advisors and volunteers work with people to develop debt repayment plans, negotiate with creditors and provide money education to change habits and minimise the chance of debt recurring in the future.
In response to the coronavirus pandemic and as Government financial support schemes come to an end, the debt advice centres have expanded to cope with an increase in demand and we have adapted our services to operate remotely whilst social distancing measures are in place.
For those people who do not have a ‘local’ debt advice centre, support can be provided online by emailing thqdas@salvationarmy.org.uk

Family Action has a free service, FamilyLine, which provides both immediate and long-term emotional support, along with practical information and guidance.
Their team of trained volunteers can support you through telephone, text, web chat and email. To find out more, and to get in touch, visit www.family-action.org.uk/familyline
